i´ve got troubles using the 3w
are 9550SXU 4-port SATA on a ml 350 g3 server. the problem was, building the raidsystem on bios level, with the failure “Insufficient PMM RAM to load controller software. Your system motherboard may require a BIOS upgrade.” link

what to do? firs idea, i knew, there was a simple webconsole für 3ware controllers, so i deside to take a look on these solution….got the files from 3ware, read the usermanual from my controler, and….install failure, shit….
so i googled a while to find this site, with the right repository http://jonas.genannt.name/ of well done .deb files.
thank you jonas, it works well, like a charme, so i was able to build the raid on the webconsole
